From our dairy, coop, garden, and kitchen
What we offer
Availability follows the animals and the season. Ask what’s ready this week — we would rather tell you the truth than overpromise.
Dairy
Goat milk & cheese
Fresh goat milk products and cheeses are the heart of Dairy Ferry. Milk is handled in small batches. Cheeses range from soft, spreadable styles to firmer wedges — always from our own goats, never anonymous tank milk.
Because a homestead herd has a rhythm, quantities change. If you want a standing order or a specific cheese for a dinner, send an inquiry and we will plan with you.
The flock
Farm-fresh eggs
Our hens free-range as Kentucky weather allows and come home to a proper coop. Eggs are collected daily — a mix of white and brown, sized by the season and the birds, not a packing plant.
Dozen cartons are the usual ask. Restaurants and markets can talk with us about larger, regular drops on our delivery days.
Garden & greenhouse
Produce & herbs
We grow cucumbers, berries, tomatoes, and a spread of peppers — sweet, hot, and everything in between — plus kitchen herbs for cooking and for the jars that leave our pantry.
Starts begin in the hoop house. Peak harvest hits the table, the canning kettle, and our partner shops while it still tastes like it came from the field that morning.
The pantry
Canning, pickles & jams
When the garden runs heavy, we put food up. Pickled peppers, cucumber pickles, jams, and other canned goods stretch summer into the months when the hoop house is doing the quiet work of next year.
Jars ship well and make an easy wholesale item for markets that want a Kentucky-made shelf. Ask what is in the pantry this month.
The bakery
Kari’s Konfections
Cakes, cupcakes, and celebration sweets — baked to order for birthdays, gatherings, and the kind of Tuesday that deserves frosting. Kari takes custom requests, from simple buttercream to fully themed designs.
Give as much notice as you can for weekend and holiday dates. Farm eggs and dairy often go into the batter when the flock and the herd allow.
See more of the bakery on Facebook or send an inquiry with your date, serving size, and flavor ideas.
